Less recognized is USURPATION of Marriage. Corruption is blatant, in your face, here it is, "LIVE WITH IT!" corruption. So there! Corruption gets those who blatantly WANT to follow Satan (most will eventually be harvested as Grapes). Usurpation gets those who are DECEIVED into following him (most will eventually be harvested as Wheat).

Usurpation is hidden, occult. To see usurpation, we need to consider WHO? This goes more to motive and intent than action. Man cannot easily judge these. It is hidden - between you and the ultimate Judge.

Who is Lord of your Family? Yahweh God? or Satan?

The answer to "Who's laws do you keep/obey?" is more important than "How well do you keep them?" (see Keep HIS Commandments)

This is and always has been the question about everything. Choose you this day WHO you will serve. (Joshua 24:15) Satan is a liar from the beginning. (John 8:44)

If Satan can't corrupt your marriage then he wants to usurp it, becoming lord (master) of your family.

How is this done? How does Satan usurp (deceive) a marriage?

The easiest way is through Satan's proxies, the State (government) and the church. Governments of this world are represented by beasts and metals in prophecy, such as the image of Daniel (see Metal Image). Churches can also act as a proxy for Satan if led be men. Whenever man or men, whether a state or church is Lord over your marriage, Satan has prevailed. This will be explained in the next page, under "Jurisdiction".
