The final end harvest judgment, judgment #3, harvest of the Wheat and Grapes, takes place at the Great White Throne Judgment. This is the least understood of all judgments. It is based entirely on WORKS. Perfection is no longer possible, Faith is long past. All that is left are everyones' works, their deeds, their lives. Every person will be shown their own life compared with the perfect life of the Father. Each will deliver a verdict of their own life, "whether it be good, or whether it be evil".

Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear Elohim, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. For Elohim shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil. Ecclesiastes 12:13-14

And if ye call on the Father, who without respect of persons judgeth according to every man's work, pass the time of your sojourning here in fear: 1 Peter 1:17

For we must ALL appear before the judgment seat of the Messiah; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad. 2 Corinthians 5:10

Who will render to every man according to his deeds: Romans 2:6

See JUDGMENT BY WORKS

Even those who were already harvested and saved by their faith in the previous judgment will see all when ALL is revealed by the WORD of FIRE. It doesn't mean they are in risk of double jeopardy, their previous salvation is secure. But they will still go through the fire.

For every one shall be salted with fire, and every sacrifice shall be salted with salt. Mark 9:49

For by fire and by his sword will יהוה [Yahweh, our god] plead with all flesh: and the slain of יהוה [Yahweh] shall be many. Isaiah 66:16

This judgment is after the 1000 years and after the Holy City, the New Jerusalem, the City of Yahweh descends out of Heaven to the Earth.

The gates of the city will remain wide open as an invitation for everyone, including the wheat and grapes, to enter as they are judged, convicted, purified and restored (harvested). This means threshing the wheat and treading the grapes in the winepress, and ALL purified by the fire of his words.

And the gates of it shall not be shut at all by day: for there shall be no night there. And they shall bring the glory and honour of the nations into it. And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb's book of life. Revelation 21:25-27

Therefore thy gates shall be open continually; they shall not be shut day nor night; that men may bring unto thee the forces of the Gentiles, and that their kings may be brought. Isaiah 60:11

The wheat, harvested in the summer, are those who know the Father and the King and will be looking for his coming, but are sinful and lack the faith to survive the judgment of His 2nd coming. They are represented by the foolish virgins in that parable and will be ready for harvest before the grapes, some quickly others later. The wheat is not holy at all as shown by leaven in bread. The wheat wave offering for the feast of weeks celebrating the wheat harvest, was two loaves of LEAVENED (sinful) bread.

The grapes are harvested in the autumn. They do not know the King or they deny him or they hate him; they are enemies. They will be harvested last (at the "end", 1 Peter 4:17). This harvest is at the time of the feast of trumpets, the day of atonement and the feast of tabernacles. It is primarily related to atonement and forgiveness for sin, which is appropriate since this is the group with the most sin.

For as in Adam all die, even so in the Messiah shall all be made alive. But EVERY MAN IN HIS OWN ORDER: the Messiah the firstfruits; [judgment of firstfruits] afterward they that are the Messiah's at his coming [judgment of barley]. Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to יהוה, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power [judgment of wheat and grapes]. 1 Corinthians 15:20-24

The Great White Throne Judgment takes place in the Lake of Fire. We have already studied each participants' actions, the judge, advocate, prosecutor, jury and defendants.

To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are wicked among them of all their wicked deeds which they have wicked committed, and of all their hard speeches which wicked sinners have spoken against him. Jude 15

And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. Revelation 20:14

But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death. Revelation 21:8

The sinful wheat and grapes are harvested outside the holy city. Nothing impure is allowed within. We saw this same pattern in the camp in the wilderness. The lake of fire is outside the city with the wheat and grapes in that lake of fire. Wheat is threshed and grapes are trodden in the winepress. This is usual harvest procedure.

The WORDS of the judge stream "fire" on the wicked convincing and convicting them until every knee finally bows. These WORDS of FIRE reveal every deed, thought and action. The WORKS of the sinner will convict the sinner's own heart and they will judge them-self guilty by those WORKS.

They, like the prodigal son, will admit their guilt, ask forgiveness, and be accepted back into the Father's family.

And the son said unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and in thy sight, and am no more worthy to be called thy son. But the father said to his servants, Bring forth the best robe, and put it on him; and put a ring on his hand, and shoes on his feet: And bring hither the fatted calf, and kill it; and let us eat, and be merry: For this my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found. Luke 15:21-24

One by one, these previous sinners will be converted and purified. No longer as sinners, they can walk through the open gates into the holy city, redeemed and restored.

If the Father and his Son are able to accomplish this, who am I to deny it?

Notes:

Outside the camp or outside the city or "without" all had significance.

And do ye abide without the camp seven days: whosoever hath killed any person, and whosoever hath touched any slain, purify both yourselves and your captives on the third day, and on the seventh day. Numbers 31:19

And the winepress was trodden without the city, and blood came out of the winepress, even unto the horse bridles, by the space of a thousand and six hundred furlongs. Revelation 14:20

For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie. Revelation 22:15

We must remember that the Creator made those within as well as those without. He has a claim on all.

Ye fools, did not he that made that which is without make that which is within also? Luke 11:40

We are specifically told that the city gates will remain open. There must be a purpose. The open gates will remind the sinner that all is not lost. Their hearts can be converted, their spirits restored. Forgiveness is always near. Finally, they will admit their guilt, bow in worship to the Father, accept His forgiveness, reborn by fire and enter the city through the open gates.

Therefore thy gates shall be open continually; they shall not be shut day nor night; that men may bring unto thee the forces of the Gentiles, and that their kings may be brought. Isaiah 60:11

Open ye the gates, that the righteous nation which keepeth the truth may enter in. Isaiah 26:2

Open to me the gates of righteousness: I will go into them, and I will praise יהוה: Psalms 118:19

And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of יהוה did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof. And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it: and the kings of the earth do bring their glory and honour into it. Revelation 21:23-27
