There are two (and only two) sides to the great controversy between good and evil, Yahweh and Satan.

The Bible represents the good as the City of Yahweh, Jerusalem. The City of Satan is represented as Babylon.

But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels, Hebrews 12:22

Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name. Revelation 3:12

And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. Revelation 21:2

And there followed another angel, saying, Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication. Revelation 14:8

Standing afar off for the fear of her torment, saying, Alas, alas, that great city Babylon, that mighty city! for in one hour is thy judgment come. Revelation 18:10

And a mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone, and cast it into the sea, saying, Thus with violence shall that great city Babylon be thrown down, and shall be found no more at all. Revelation 18:21

The metal image of King Nebuchadnezzar's dream represented Satan's KINGDOM manifested as different kings and metals, but ALWAYS, Satan's Kingdom. The head was gold and represented Babylon. Babylon is thus a representation of ALL of Satan's Kingdoms in their different manifestations, and ultimately as the wicked City of Babylon, enemy of Yahweh.

And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird. For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies. And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues. Revelation 18:2-4

Repentant pliable man MUST come out of (separate from) Babylon. The two can NEVER cleave (mingle, unite). But until man separates from Babylon, he is absorbed in the iron. No clay can be found or seen.
