The first end harvest judgment is based on PERFECTION, sinlessness, correcting Adam's failure. It is the judgment of the firstfruits, Jesus [Yahushua] the Christ, in a unique category, all alone. His holiness is demonstrated by the feast of unleavened bread signifying the Messiah's absence of sin (leaven).

Proof that this barley harvest judgment was based on perfection (sinless, holy) is the unleavened bread required in celebrating the feast of unleavened bread. It showed an absence of sin (leaven) in the life of the Messiah.

Not only was leaven (sin) to be absent during the feast, but unleavened bread was to be eaten.

Seven days shall ye eat unleavened bread; even the first day ye shall put away leaven out of your houses: for whosoever eateth leavened bread from the first day until the seventh day, that soul shall be cut off from Israel. Exodus 12:15

Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us: Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, neither with the leaven of malice and wickedness; but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth. 1 Corinthians 5:7-8

The Messiah was the firstfruits of the barley harvest.

But now is the Messiah risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept. For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead. For as in Adam all die, even so in the Messiah shall all be made alive. But EVERY MAN IN HIS OWN ORDER: the Messiah the firstfruits; [judgment of firstfruits] afterward they that are the Messiah's at his coming [judgment of barley]. Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to יהוה, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power [judgment of wheat and grapes]. 1 Corinthians 15:20-24

Through Adam, sin entered and caused ALL to sin (Romans 3:23). Except, Jesus undid the sin of Adam by living a perfect life, reconciling ALL mankind to the Father (Romans 5:10), EVERY man in his own order. (1 Corinthians 15:23)

Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned: Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life. Romans 5:12,18

Common belief and error is that we are saved by the death of Jesus [Yahushua]. This is a pagan doctrine of appeasement. In fact, we are RECONCILED by His death, but saved by His life (proof of His judgment of innocence and victory over Satan, sin and death).

For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to יהוה [Yahweh] by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life. Romans 5:10

There are two different kinds of death. One is just a "sleep", as demonstrated by Lazurus. This is the death experienced throughout history. It is a physical death.

These things said he: and after that he saith unto them, Our friend Lazarus sleepeth; but I go, that I may awake him out of sleep. Then said his disciples, Rabbi, if he sleep, he shall do well. Howbeit Yahushua spake of his death: but they thought that he had spoken of taking of rest in sleep. Then said Yahushua unto them plainly, Lazarus is dead. John 11:11-14

The other death, sometimes called the second death, is separation by sin from the Father, resulting from the wages of sin. It is a spiritual death. This is the death that Yahushua died on the cross. It will also be separation from the Father experienced by those IN the Lake of Fire. (Revelation 2:11, Revelation 20:14)

And at the ninth hour Yahushua cried with a loud voice, saying, Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani? which is, being interpreted, My Elohim, my Elohim, why hast thou forsaken me? Mark 15:34

Yahushua, the Christ is the only person in the history of the world to have died the second death; that is the penalty of sin resulting in separation from the Father. All other "deaths" (so far) are only "sleep" (physical). These deaths are temporary (sleep) to be raised at either the first or the second resurrection. Second deaths have been considered permanent.

Yahushua's resurrection proves that second deaths are not necessarily permanent. His resurrection (His LIFE) is evidence of a judgment of innocence.

We will consider this more in a future study.

Christ is the sinless, blameless, innocent One

For such an high priest became us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and made higher than the heavens; Hebrews 7:26

For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. Hebrews 4:15

And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin. 1 John 3:5

For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him. 2 Corinthians 5:21

For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps: Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth: 1 Peter 2:21-22

There is almost nothing said of this judgment, perhaps because it doesn't affect us. The outcome certainly does but the process does not. However, Jesus admits of this judgment of him, the firstfruits:

Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged. John 16:11
