The third book of judgment is the Book of Law. This is the standard used to judge the wheat and grapes. Yahweh, unlike Satan and the world, has standards by which He will judge. Right and wrong do exist.

"Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law." 1 John 3:4

The wheat and grapes will have been blotted from the Book of Life because they lacked the faith of Yahushua (Jesus). They will be judged by their works, judged by their deeds compared to the standard in the "Book of Law". Their sins will testify against them and their consciences will burn within them until they repent.

The barley (overcomers) are saved at the second coming by the faith of Jesus. They will NOT be judged by the law, but by their faith in Yahushua (Jesus) and their accepting the promise made to Abraham, before existence of the "Book of Law". They will be pure, not because they never sinned, but because the Messiah will purify them by faith and promise.

"Beloved, now are we the sons of Yahweh, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is. And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure." 1 John 3:2-3

Before the law, was the covenant. This was a promise to Abraham 430 years before Yahweh gave Moses the law. Moses wrote it in a book, the "Book of Law". His writings are referred to as the "law".

The law could NOT cancel (disannul) Yahweh's previous promise to Abraham (and us).

"And this I say, that the covenant, that was confirmed before of Yahweh in the Messiah, the law, which was four hundred and thirty years after, cannot disannul, that it should make the promise of none effect." Galatians 3:17

The law was intended to function only until the time of the Christ.

"But before faith came, we were kept under the law, shut up unto the faith which should afterwards be revealed. Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Messiah, that we might be justified by faith. But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster (the law). For ye are all the children of יהוה [Yahweh, our god] by faith in Messiah Yahushua." Galatians 3:23-26

Those with the faith of Yahushua (the barley overcomers) are under faith, NOT the law. Unfortunately, the wheat and grapes don't accept the faith of Yahushua (Jesus), so are still under the law. This law will work on their consciences (which is the lake of fire) until they are purified, call on the name of Yahweh and repent.
