We first need to understand what names are and what titles are.
Names:
Names are proper names for specific proper nouns such as your name or the name of a city.
Yahweh - Actual proper name of the Almighty Father
Yahweh - name given by the Father to all His sons, only-begotten and adopted.
Jehovah - Incorrect transliteration of YHWH, which is more correctly "Yahweh"
Yahushua - Hebrew name of Jesus on Earth. It means "Yahweh (is) salvation"
Iesous - Greek name of Jesus on Earth
Titles or Status:
Titles are nouns that describe a person's social rank, qualifications, position in an organization, status, sex, etc. Titles may be used before or after the person's name or even in place of their name. Titles can have "The" or "a" in front of the title. Titles are NOT names (names do NOT have "The" or "a" in front of them).
What's her title - is she a Professor or a Doctor?
He will retain the honorary title of the non-executive chairman.
What's your job title now - are you the managing director?
Yahweh, the Father and Yahushua, the Son have many titles, none of these titles are NAMES.

Substitutions:
Substitutions would be better restricted to teachers, sports players and mathematics. Unfortunately, and historically, some words have been taken out of circulation and replaced (substituted) with other words. This has mostly been because of the mistaken belief (error) that some words are too Holy to speak. (see Conspiracy - The Hidden, Holy Name)
The name of The Almighty God
A name of the Hebrew God, represented in Hebrew by the Tetragrammaton ("four letters") יהוה (Yod Heh Vav Heh), which was transliterated into Roman script as YHWH (Yahweh, our god). Because it was considered blasphemous to utter the name of God, it was only written and never spoken, which resulted in the original pronunciation becoming lost.
Unfortunately, these substitutions replace the actual proper name with a title, which can never replace a personal name. That would be like calling you "Boy" instead of your real name.
Lord/LORD - substitute for YHWH in many Bible versions
Adonai - substitute for YHWH in Judaism
