Mark 10:42-45
But Yahushua [Jesus] called them to Himself and said to them, "You know that those who are CONSIDERED rulers over the Gentiles lord it over them, and their great ones exercise authority over them. Yet it shall not be so among you; but whoever desires to become great among you shall be your servant. And whoever of you desires to be first shall be slave of all. For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many."

This is clear proof that just because mortals on Earth may consider someone to be a "ruler" does not mean that Yahweh considers them to be genuine rulers! In the eyes of Yahweh, those who are the greatest among men are those who seek to serve their fellow men, not those who seek to be served by their fellow men!

Matthew 18:4
Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of Yahweh.

(See also Matt. 20:25-28 Mark 9:35, Luke 22:26)

Government workers used to be called "public servants". It was their job to serve the public, who were their "boss". This has turned completely upside down. Government workers are no longer "public servants" (at least in action and in attitude) but instead are "bureaucrats" who lord it over their subjects, enforcing codes and regulations.

Police used to "serve and protect".

Now, they are enforcers of the rulers' regulations. The "public servants" have become the "masters".

"Law" used to be the basis for crime (breaking one of Yahweh's laws related to men), now it is any infraction of ruler-made "policy" or "regulations". The change from "Law enforcement" to "code enforcement" is partly to blame. Also the change of the lamb-like beast to one who speaks like a dragon. The fact is, it was a kinder and gentler time, then, than now. This is a direct result of the poisonous influence of the change in World Views. How diametrically opposite the Kingdom of Yahweh is from that of mortal, Earthly governments!

Psalms 110:5,6
The יהוה [Yahweh, our god] is at Your right hand; He shall execute kings in the day of His wrath. He shall judge among the nations, He shall fill the places with dead bodies, He shall execute the heads of many countries.

And the above prophecy is also mirrored by the prophet Isaiah:

Isaiah 24:21,22
It shall come to pass in that day That Yahweh will punish on high the host of exalted ones, And on the earth the kings of the earth. They will be gathered together, As prisoners are gathered in the pit, And will be shut up in the prison; After many days they will be punished.

Revelation 19:19-21
And I saw the beast, the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against Him who sat on the horse and against His army. Then the beast was captured, and with him the false prophet who worked signs in his presence, by which he deceived those who received the mark of the beast and those who worshiped his image. These two were cast alive into the lake of fire burning with brimstone. And the rest were killed with the sword which proceeded from the mouth of Him who sat on the horse. And all the birds were filled with their flesh.

Acts 4:26
The kings of the earth stood up, and the rulers were gathered together against Yahweh, and against his Messiah.

This doesn't sound like these kings and rulers are acting on Christ's behalf or authority.

The Bible is full of examples of Yahweh's faithful directly disobeying the rules and orders of earthly governments. Moses' mother disobeyed the ruler's order by hiding Moses in the bulrushes instead of giving him up to be killed (Exodus 1:15-2:3)

Esther 3:2
And all the king's servants, that were in the king's gate, bowed, and reverenced Haman: for the king had so commanded concerning him. But Mordecai bowed not, nor did him reverence.

Mordecai refused to obey the King's law, because it was not true law. Esther also, ignored man's law for a higher purpose.

Esther 4:16 Go, gather together all the Jews that are present in Shushan, and fast ye for me, and neither eat nor drink three days, night or day: I also and my maidens will fast likewise; and so will I go in unto the king, which is not according to the law: and if I perish, I perish.

Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, all broke the law to Yahweh's glory. (Daniel 3:12-18)

Daniel broke the law to honor Yahweh (Daniel 6:10)

The wise men disobeyed the ruler's order to report the whereabouts of Christ (Matthew 2:12,13)

Proverbs 23:1-3
When thou sittest to eat with a ruler, consider diligently what is before thee: And put a knife to thy throat, if thou be a man given to appetite. Be not desirous of his dainties: for they are deceitful meat.

Proverbs 28:15
As a roaring lion, and a ranging bear; so is a wicked ruler over the poor people.

Proverbs 29:2
When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn.

Proverbs 29:12
If a ruler hearken to lies, all his servants are wicked.

Ecclesiastes 10:4-5
If the spirit of the ruler rise up against thee, leave not thy place; for yielding pacifieth great offences. There is an evil which I have seen under the sun, as an error which proceedeth from the ruler:

Solomon says we should resist rulers who rise against us. Yielding (obeying) leads to great offences.

2 Samuel 23:3-4
The Elohim of Israel said ... He that ruleth over men must be just, ruling in the fear of Elohim. And he shall be as the light of the morning, when the sun riseth, even a morning without clouds; as the tender grass springing out of the earth by clear shining after rain.

Judges 8:22-23
Then the men of Israel said unto Gideon, Rule thou over us, both thou, and thy son, and thy son's son also: for thou hast delivered us from the hand of Midian. And Gideon said unto them, I will not rule over you, neither shall my son rule over you: Yahweh shall rule over you.

This is TRUE government

Psalms 22:28
For the kingdom is Yahweh's: and he is the governor among the nations.

Psalms 22:27-28
All the ends of the world shall remember and turn unto Yahweh: and all the kindreds of the nations shall worship before thee. For the kingdom is Yahweh's: and he is the governor among the nations.

Psalms 67:4
O let the nations be glad and sing for joy: for thou shalt judge the people righteously, and govern the nations upon earth. Selah.

Psalms 103:19
Yahweh hath prepared his throne in the heavens; and his kingdom ruleth over all.

Matthew 2:6
And thou Bethlehem, in the land of Juda, art not the least among the princes of Juda: for out of thee shall come a Governor, that shall rule my people Israel.

1 Corinthians 15:24
Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to Yahweh, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power.

Yahweh is our King. He rules us in His Kingdom. This is True Government.

David, Soloman, Isaiah and John the Revelator, and many more, all say that Yahweh is displeased with sinful kings and earthly governments. Why? Because they act under orders and/or influence of their father, Satan and should be disobeyed, NOT honored.
