Romans explains Yahweh's predestination for our salvation:

Romans 8:29-31
For whom he did foreknow [He knows everything and everyone], he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he [the Son] might be the firstborn among many brethren. Moreover whom he did predestinate [those He foreknew - everyone], them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified. What shall we then say to these things? If Yahweh be for us, who can be against us?

If you or I are predestined to be called or not called, what choice do we have? Freewill plays no part. And if someone is NOT predestined to be saved, how can they be blamed or condemned or damned? And if Yahweh is Love, will He not eventually call EVERYONE? This is the Bible's clear teaching.

2 Thessalonians 2:13
But we are bound to give thanks alway to Yahweh for you, brethren beloved of the Master, because Yahweh hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth:

Paul explains how he had no choice in the matter of his conversion. Yahweh "counted" him faithful, even when he wasn't. Yahweh's Son came to save sinners, of which, he (Paul) was chief.

1 Timothy 1:12-16
And I thank the Messiah Yahushua our Master, who hath enabled me, for that he counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry; [Yahweh put Paul into the ministry. It was His purpose. Paul didn't just wake up one day and say to himself "I think I will decide to be a minister for the Christ who I am persecuting."] Who was before a blasphemer, and a persecutor, and injurious: but I obtained mercy, because I did it ignorantly in unbelief. And the grace of our Master was exceeding abundant with faith and love which is in the Messiah Yahushua. This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that the Messiah Yahushua came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief. Howbeit for this cause I obtained mercy, that in me first the Messiah Yahushua might shew forth all longsuffering, for a pattern to them which should hereafter believe on him to life everlasting.

When we were ignorant and in unbelief, by His grace, Yahweh broke into our lives and saved us by giving us the faith of the Son of Yahweh!

Jacob and Esau were predestined, as was Pharaoh and Moses, not because of any works, but for Yahweh's purpose:

Romans 9:9-24
For this is the word of promise, At this time will I come, and Sara shall have a son. And not only this; but when Rebecca also had conceived by one, even by our father Isaac; (For the children being not yet born, neither having done any good or evil, that the purpose of Yahweh according to election might stand, not of works, but of him that calleth;) It was said unto her, The elder shall serve the younger. As it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated. What shall we say then? Is there unrighteousness with Yahweh? Yahweh forbid. For he saith to Moses, I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion. So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of Yahweh that sheweth mercy. For the scripture saith unto Pharaoh, Even for this same purpose have I raised thee up, that I might shew my power in thee, and that my name might be declared throughout all the earth. Therefore hath he mercy on whom he will have mercy, and whom he will he hardeneth. Thou wilt say then unto me, Why doth he yet find fault? For who hath resisted his will? Nay but, O man, who art thou that repliest against Yahweh? Shall the thing formed say to him that formed it, Why hast thou made me thus? Hath not the potter power over the clay, of the same lump to make one vessel unto honour, and another unto dishonour? What if Yahweh, willing to shew his wrath, and to make his power known, endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath fitted to destruction: And that he might make known the riches of his glory on the vessels of mercy, which he had afore prepared unto glory, Even us, whom he hath called, not of the Jews only, but also of the Gentiles?

2 Timothy 1:9
Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works [what we DO], but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in the Messiah Yahushua before the world began,

It isn't OUR faith that saves us. It isn't what we DO that saves us. It is Yahweh's PURPOSE and the gifts of His Grace and Yahweh's faith by which we are saved. Some people [vessels] He predestined to be honourable, others, common - all according to Yahweh's predestined plan and purpose. Our will is meaningless.

2 Timothy 2:20
But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honour, and some to dishonour.

Several times in the Bible, Yahweh compared himself with a potter and we (His creations) as clay. The potter can make whatever he will and if he is not satisfied, break the pot to bits and start again. The clay has no say, no will and cannot even question the potter's purpose or results.

This is Yahweh's plan for our restoration, each according to His own time and purpose.

Isaiah 64:8
But now, O יהוה [Yahweh, our god], thou art our father; we are the clay, and thou our potter; and we all are the work of thy hand.

Jeremiah 18:1-4
The word which came to Jeremiah from יהוה [Yahweh], saying, Arise, and go down to the potter's house, and there I will cause thee to hear my words. Then I went down to the potter's house, and, behold, he wrought a work on the wheels. And the vessel that he made of clay was marred in the hand of the potter: so he made it again another vessel, as seemed good to the potter to make it.

Romans 9:20-21
Nay but, O man, who art thou that repliest against Yahweh? Shall the thing formed say to him that formed it, Why hast thou made me thus? Hath not the potter power over the clay, of the same lump to make one vessel unto honour, and another unto dishonour?

Who am I to question my Creator and what He makes of me? I have no choice, He makes of me the clay pot that serves His purpose. It isn't my choice. It isn't my will (but I want...). Who am I "that repliest against Yahweh"? ("Why hast thou made me thus?") Romans 9:20, it is "thy will be done".
