All* the fruits of Yahweh's Harvest must be purified before they can be restored to His image because ALL have sinned. Some have sinned more, and some have sinned less, but ALL require Yahweh's purification (see Three Purifications). This is sometimes referred to as "sanctification".

* Isn't this the false teaching of Universalism?

Answer: If by "universalism" you mean a false doctrine that sinners will be glorified, the answer is emphatically "NO". Yahweh will glorify NO sinner. On the other hand, "ALL have sinned and come short" (Romans 3:23) and He died to save us while we were yet sinners. (Romans 5:8). Therefore, if Yahweh were unable to glorify FORMER sinners, NONE could be saved. Barley fruits were former sinners, but will go to Heaven. Wheat fruits were former sinners that will NOT go to Heaven, but will ultimately be separated from the chaff and will be saved. The fruit of Grapes were sinners when thrown into the lake of fire. If that fire is able to cleanse (purge) their sin, they will become "former" sinners. As a "former sinner" they will be eligible for restoration. Their clay pot will need to be broken apart and a new pot made. If Yahweh is willing and able to perform this, who am I to say He can't.

Purification by water and fire is seen as a type in the earthly sanctuary, the Harvest cycles and baptism. (see Three Purifications)

When they go into the tabernacle of the congregation, they shall wash with water, that they die not; or when they come near to the altar to minister, to burn offering made by fire unto Yahweh: Exodus 30:20

Every thing that may abide the fire, ye shall make it go through the fire, and it shall be clean: nevertheless it shall be purified with the water of separation: and all that abideth not the fire ye shall make go through the water. Numbers 31:23

I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Spirit, and with fire: Matthew 3:11

In the final harvest, it is Yahweh's Word that purifies with judgment and burning. It is this Word that is the lake of fire. His fire cleanses, purifies, purges, corrects (see Purpose of Yahweh's Fire).

Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you. John 15:3

Is not my word like as a fire? saith Yahweh; ...? Jeremiah 23:29

The purpose of burning fire is to wash away the filth and purge the blood. This washing and burning are accomplished by "the spirit of judgment, and by the spirit of burning".

When Yahweh shall have washed away the filth of the daughters of Zion, and shall have purged the blood of Jerusalem from the midst thereof by the spirit of judgment, and by the spirit of burning. (Isaiah 4:4)

For every one shall be salted with fire... Mark 9:49

Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble; Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is. If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward. If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire. 1 Corinthians 3:12-15

"Everyone" and "Every man" includes the barley, the wheat and the grapes, each in their own way and time. The barley overcomers need very little fire, but are included in the "everyone". The "foolish" wheat requires more fire than the barley. This fire burns the chaff until there is nothing left but pure wheat. However, the wheat / foolish virgins are resurrected in the second resurrection to life. They already believe, they have their own faith, but it isn't enough. They need "the faith of Jesus and His Spirit" along with the burning by the word of judgment. This will fit them for life with Christ.

The grapes (unbelievers) are an entirely different case.

And whosoever was not found written in the book of life [those in the book of life are the wheat harvest] was cast into the lake of fire [the grape harvest]. Revelation 20:15

But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death. Revelation 21:8

We learned (see Lake of Fire) that this lake is symbolic, not literal fire. It will burn (purge, cleanse) all impurities and sin, leaving Yahweh's great final harvest of grapes.

The grape harvest must first become acquainted with Christ. Then they must see (become aware) of their filthiness. This will happen in the judgment, when all is revealed. That revelation will slowly or not so slowly, depending on the tenderness of their souls, work on the consciences of the unbelievers, until they are finally restored making true the prophecies:

Who shall not fear thee, O Yahweh, and glorify thy name? for thou only art holy: for all nations shall come and worship before thee; for thy judgments are made manifest. Revelation 15:4

And he shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers: even as I received of my Father. Revelation 2:27

And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world. 1 John 2:2

יהוה [Yahweh, our god] is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. 2 Peter 3:9

This is a faithful saying and worthy of all acceptation. For therefore we both labour and suffer reproach, because we trust in the living Elohim, who is the Saviour of all men, specially of those that believe. 1 Timothy 4:9-10

That at the name of Jesus [Yahweh] every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Yahushua the Messiah is Master, to the glory of Yahweh the Father. Philippians 2:10-11
(see Salvation by the name of Yahwew).

For as in Adam all die, even so in the Messiah shall all be made alive. 1 Corinthians 15:22

Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which Yahweh hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began. Acts 3:21

And all flesh shall see the salvation of Yahweh. Luke 3:6

And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know Yahweh: for they shall all know me, from the least of them [worst of the grape harvest] unto the greatest of them [best of the barley], saith Yahweh: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more. Jeremiah 31:34
