Iron and Clay

Yahweh, the One True God, has always had his people.

Elijah was quite certain that he was the only follower left in the world:

Then he said, “I have been very zealous for Yahweh the God of hosts, for the Israelites have forsaken your covenant. They have demolished your altars, and they have killed your prophets with the sword. I alone am left over, and they seek to take my life. 1 Kings 19:10

But Elijah was assured that he was not alone:

Yet I have left me seven thousand in Israel, all the knees which have not bowed unto Baal, and every mouth which hath not kissed him. 1 Kings 19:18

If CLAY represents God Yahweh's people on earth and if He has always had His followers, why is the clay ONLY represented in the feet and toes of the image of Babylon (the end of time)? There is no clay in the head of gold or the in the silver or brass or legs of iron. Only in the feet and toes where iron and clay "shall not cleave one to another".

It is this author's contention that the answer to this question is the most important part of this entire prophecy.

And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird. For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies. And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues. Revelation 18:2-4

This is the command for "my people", the clay, to separate from the system of Babylon. To separate from the iron and not cleave to it.

Before this happens, through all of history, the clay has been so mixed with all the earthly systems that it is not even distinguishable from the metals of Babylon.

This command requires knowledge and action. It requires an understanding of the nature of Satan's governments on earth and a knowing action to separate from it. (come out of her). This separation is more spiritual than physical. Physically, we are in the kingdoms of Babylon. There is no escaping it, physically. It is everywhere. Spiritually (mentally) we can come out.

HOW CAN I COME OUT OF BABYLON?

1. Know the enemy
2. Know the Father
3. Choose you, this day WHO you will serve. Joshua 24:15

Most of His followers know the Father and they also know Satan and have chosen to follow the Father. Otherwise, they would not be His people. Yet, they have not separated from Babylon (this isn't the author's opinion, it is a direct interpretation of Daniel's prophecy). What they do NOT know, is the nature and function of Babylon and the extent of their participation within that system. Ultimately, Satan is the enemy. But proximally, Babylon is Satan's substitute (proxy). Satan has masked (cloaked) his workings within Babylon. Babylon is BOTH church and state. Just as the Egyptian pharaohs were head of state and claimed to be god himself, ALL "mans" government usurps Yahweh's power and authority (some more, some less).

Not "my" government (I hear some saying). My government has separation of church and state. See Idolatry (False God) of State.

Only after "coming out of Babylon" will the clay be seen, separate from the iron. This is still future. It is suspected that some great catastrophe(s) will finally unmask Satan and reveal Babylon for the fraud that it is. Then, the clay will separate from the iron. Then the 10 kings (The 10 Toes of Daniel 2) will exercise their power for an hour. Then, the True King will come and save us.

And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast. Revelation 17:12

And I heard as it were the voice of a great multitude, and as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of mighty thunderings, saying, Alleluia: for [Yaweh] the Lord God omnipotent reigneth. Revelation 19:6
