Lost Knowledge

For 4000 years EVERYONE knew which day the 7th was.

There was NO controversy or question. One either kept the 7th day Sabbath (obeying Yahweh) or didn't (obeying Satan).

The pagan idolaters knew, the Israelites knew, the Ishmaelites knew.

Unfortunately, this knowledge was lost. Today, most Christians acknowledge the 7th day Sabbath. But when IS this 7th day. It depends when you start counting. This is either a relative truth or an absolute truth. Absolute truths are currently out of style. Most doctrines have become relative or conditional. When the Bible speaks of the 7th day, it doesn't mention some relative or conditional time period. It is speaking of a SPECIFIC time period. But when is it? When is the 7th day?

In my early studies, I naively thought, "Oh, this is easy, I'll just do whatever Christ (my example) did."

But, what did He do? It was not that easy to discover.

And, yet, the ancients understood this so completely and so commonly that it would be like our having a controversy today over "When is daylight and when is night-time?"

In other words "Why are you asking this silly question?"

We know as part of our common knowledge what daylight is. Exactly so, the ancients knew when the 7th day was.

Starting with what we know today and going back in time and then learning how this knowledge was lost will lead us back to the truth again. Mostly, it's dropping the errors one by one that leads us back to Truth.

This discovery of old truth will start with studying today's current calendar and dropping off error as we go back in time and knowledge.
